Introducing Wilma

I call her Wilma, you can figure out why yourself.

This was purchased from Dennis aka Rocksmith Engineering and arrived today. It had the 21.5 however I added the Mamba Max Pro, 7955 Servo, and Futaba RX this evening.

It came with titanium lower links, titanium steering and drag links, losi aluminum knuckles and c's, white dot rovers on narrowed Mayhem wheels.

It has a nice team3six custom painted body but I forgot to get a picture of it so for your viewing pleasure:

Please excuse the fuzziness in some of the pictures as these were taken with my phone.

I did a little bit of driving tonight inside and a quick run in the front yard. So far so good and maybe I can try some rocks tomorrow. I will be programming the ESC first since all I did was hook everything up, calibrate the Tx, and do a little testing.

I think you can have a really good time on rocks with it...

for me I'm waiting for the XR10, and just taking the axles :yipi:

Arct1k 06.29.2010 06:30 AM

Thats should work great - personally I run the tires in the other direction and would get the ESC off the rear axle... :)

Worth looking at the 14mm rotor to...

Has the 14mm rotor installed already. :intello:

I will check that out with the tires. Nothing is set in place, I just wanted to wire it up and run. No weight in the wheels right now either, and it really needs some so I will be tearing them down tonight. I will probably end up with some nova foams too as I am not too wild about what's in them right now.

I did a little hard core trail running today through a dry creek wash out about 300 yards long. Up and over large tree roots, some rocks, and random crap. It was fun however I just found a nice practice place this afternoon while driving that I will go back too. It's about 5 minutes from my house. :yipi:

BTW dude, I will probably be getting an XR10 as well, I just needed something now to get me on the rocks and didn't want to sink cash into a berg or bully with the new axial coming out so soon.

Some recent changes:

First I am getting a 4s battery to up the wheel speed. Not a necessity per-say but will be helpful in certain situations.

I also sipped the tires and changed the direction per Arct1ks suggestion. Much better side hill performance as well as stopped hold on incline/decline.

Nice thumb ring, bondo needs one of those so he can gauge the "depth" he is getting when him and harold take showers...

like a thumb is big enough. I tell new hires to stop at the elbow. You're slipping Linc:lol:

I think you are referring to the "back door". I was commenting on the "front door". I have heard the stories from your "hires". Scary stuff, should be in the next "Saw" movie...

a man has to eat. My selection process is beneficial to society, so I still sleep at night.
