Where I've been...
 

In case some of you noticed I haven't been here much the last couple of weeks, it's because I've been on vacation. I did try to log in once in a while to make sure people are being good, but that's it.

Started out going to SoCal (Fountain Valley) visiting my fiancee's parents, going to Disney, etc. Then, we all went to Hawaii (Oahu). Stayed at the Hilton Grand Vacations resort (Lagoon Tower) in Waikiki beach. Had a great time. Did a LOT of swimming in the ocean and the hotel's pool, went snorkeling at Hanauma Bay, went to a Luau, shopping, rented a car and traveled around the island sightseeing, etc.

While there, I got married. :smile: Had a nice small wedding outside at Kaka'aku Park (near Waikiki). We were going to wait a couple of years until we could have a traditional (read:expensive) wedding here, but we both thought Hawaii would be the perfect place to have the ceremony.

On the way back from Hawaii, we stayed another day in SoCal and visited some more relatives. Then, the next day, we hopped on the plane yet again and headed home.

We all just got back, unpacked, and are settling in.

Congratulations to you both, sounds like you really enjoyed the trip (I mean no damper on the whole event). You did the right thing. My wife and I did the expensive wedding at home and now wish we had not. Her dad paid, but offered to let us take the money and run. We visited Hawaii (Maui) last year and realized we should have taken the money and ran! Our wedding went by so fast, it's really hard to even remember anything (and we weren't drinking). I remember us being in the back of the limo half asleep on our way to the hotel being like "what the hell just happened".
