Waterproofing Hard Cased Lipos

Hey guys, got a couple of Venom 20C 4000mah Hard Cased Lipos in my E-Revo (just running a Titan 775 or Dewalt motor, won't be going brushless) and I went with this for some winter running (ie lots of puddles)

How can I waterproof these hardcased Lipos without resorting to Condoms, Balloons, Plastic Bags etc?

My thoughts is to Wrap Electrical Tape around the pack, then a coat of Loctite Non Hardening Gasket Sealant over the top, and some Liquid Electrical Tape where the wires exit and around the plugs.

Plasti-Dip isn't sold in this backward country, and to get it in will cost $64 AUD ($55 US) as it's a special import and classed as a dangerous good so can't be freighted through the post.

Open to ideas / suggestions.

Why not tape the seam and silicone the wire exit?
