Revo Electric Motor Mount for Nitro Revo
I'm really dissapointed, as I thought this would be really dgreat. But it isn't. After mounting this on my revo, it allows way too much flex in the motor area. i can actually take the motor in my hand and pull it away from the spur gears. It is causing a lot of problems on my car. Not sure what to do now.

Which motor mount are you referring to specifically...is it the RCMonster mount?
|
More than likely is the chassis under the mount thats flexing.
Do you have the little extra stock chassis piece installed also ? I honestly had no probs w/mine, No idea what else to suggest ? |
I do ahve the aluminum brace, and it's not the moutn thats flexing (RCMONSTER), its the bend in the chassus that the mount is on. I guess my problem is is it doesn't utilize the stock revo motr moutn/brace thing that prevents this area from flexing up and down. This is using a carbon fiber chassis by the way. What chassis do you have Bondo?

Yeah, that's what I thought I might have to do. I'm trying to get in touch with Chadworkz, as he has a CF plate for me and I also know he is using the same setup with me and he made his own brace. I'll see if he can make me one. Anyone know where he is? Haven't seen him for a while. I know his dad was sick.

Edit: I sent an email to Mike, and he has replied that the older version of the mount used the nitro motor mount. He has offered to swap my lower plate for an older version one. just goes to show what excellent CS RC monster has!
