How to.....Help?
ok i got a hobbywing XERUN-80A ESC.
I bought it off a local racer. Thing works great. but i am going to run one battery set up in my buggy. I was wondering how do i go soldering this up. Cuz it has a Capacitor soldered in there. I would take pictures and upload to show what i am talking about but no camrea and i am baby sitting a house for a few weeks. so how would i go about soldering it for a single battery set-up? If you guys need pictures of what i am talking about i will try to go to my house and pick up my camrea to take a picture. thanks for the help. (i'll be running it with a 2s lipo at first then i will be using a 4s lipo. |
How do you baby sit a house, is it a baby house ?
Pics would def help, swipe a pic from the net store that carrys them and copy/paste it. |

i will take a picture as soon as i can. taking a picking from the net store wouldn't help much. |
oh nvm seems the local racer that sold me it is going to solder it up.

IIRC I just comes with a Y harness - Just unsolder one deans and the bridge wire and re-solder as a single deans...

Yes, and the capacitor should be soldered at the base of the leads or solder pads, so no need to change anything with that.
|
It just stays where it is across the power lines as close to the esc as possible - you shouldn't have to touch it
