Good combo?
 

Hey guys so i'm looking for a new motor/esc to put in my slash 4x4

I've been looking at the 5.5turn tekin SC motor and a mamba max pro ESC...would this be a good combo to run in my slash 4x4 and then move up into the losi 4x4 when ever it's released?

i looked at the tekin ESC's but they seem like they are alot of money.

i was planing on putting a MMM and 2650 in it but the guys at the local track started complaining lol

most of the guys at my track are running the mm pro on the novak 550 ballistics. they even seem to be a more popular combo than the 2650's are in the SC class.

yea there are a couple of people at the local track running the novak aswell...

But i'm asking about the tekin...would it be good paired with the mmp?

I'm not sure but the SCX4 motors probrably will be hard to get for a while being a new breed.

yeah, it should be just fine with the mmp. if it is like the rest of the tekin motors, it will run a little better than a novak 550 motor.

ok thanks guys...just wanted to make sure that it will work ok before i pre-order it from amain..

imo, all my tekin motors tended to run a little warmer than my novaks.
