Quark Monsterpro 125B
I was looking through the instructions for this thing, but I couldn't find out exactly how to turn on lipo cutoff. I could only find how to change the voltage OF the lipo cutoff, but I just want to turn on the LVC!
Anyways, I couldn't find any programmers/ESC controller for this ESC on their site, but I found 2 other control programmers on the net, but I'm not sure if they can be used by this particular ESC since the main site doesn't list anything. Does it have a controller? Like, a USB connector and software or a field unit of some sort? And also, I have a BEC unit for this but there's nowhere to plug it in. How does this work? :S |

It can only be programmed by using your transmitter, no computer connection or program card. See the attached link for the programming manual (if you don't already have it).
You need to hook the BEC up like this: http://www.castlecreations.com/produ...ec_wiring.html |
Thanks. I have another silly question, I guess. Still new to the electric game. :P
Anyways, can I program the ESC by plugging in a Lipo battery, without a motor, and not risk any damage whatsoever? Since the LVC isn't turned on. I guess I need to turn on Lipo Normal as well? Amp range will be around 150A for a monster truck app, but I don't want to risk Lipo High. |
Use lipo mode, or use The Force to determine when to stop running- truck will being to loose its zippyness and ability to wheelie at any speed.
