dead mmm =(

Well something happened and the fan connector ripped off and must have shorted something, because it just randomly died =( .... off to castle it goes.

I hope i didnt void my warranty by cutting off the on off switch when trying to figure out what happened...

Removing the switch will not void the warranty, as long as you did not solder directly to the circuit board. It's strange to see the fan connector actually rip off the circuit board. I've seen situations where the fan wire gets cut from rubbing between the power board edge and the case. The only way I can think the fan connector would break off the board is if case separated and pulled it off. Either way get it sent in with a copy of the receipt and we'll get you take care of.

I'm sorry to hijack your thread, but I have a little question for Thomas.
My board is pretty lose in the case. You can move it a bit in the case when you touch the bullets connectors. I bought a new case for my MMM but is still moving in it. You can see naked copper on the edges of the PCB from rubbing against the case. The ESC is still working perfectly, should I put some tape over the edges?

A little foam pad under the pcb should do the trick, to take up the slack.
