Is my ESC dead?

I was running my E-Maxx yesterday and everything was going goo and my phone rang, so I let the truck sit for a minute, still on and with the transmitter on. 2 minutes later pick the transmitter back up and no throttle. Still nothing, I'm at a loss. Nothing was over heated, nothing loose, nothing broken. it won't even arm or anything.

Could this somehow be related to recently updating firmware somehow? I know people have had problems where the symptoms are just like mine, but they don't typicallly work for a few runs and THEN quit. Even if I have to pay the 70 dollars I don't care too much, I just don't want to be down for 3 weeks waiting for the replacement.

I'm getting absolutely nothing when I plug the ESC into my computer. This is pretty frustrating. I had read about people somehow going back but can that be done if the PC won't even recognize the esc.

Man, I've been thinking about this for a long time and I really can't come up with a reason why it would just quit like that. Maybe it got angry 'cause you blew it off for a phone call and it's waiting for you to apologize? IDK

I don't know. I've begged it to work for me and no response. I am beginning to lean towards the esc having committed suicide on me.
