Savage Flux owners, an important update from HPI

Found this a few days ago browsing along HPI's European site. Looks like HPI has updated the manuals documentation with more specific detail in regards to the type and kind of batteries to be safely used in the Savage Flux. Also note that they are stating to be sure to DISCONNECT your Lipo's from the ESC, even with the power switch off to prevent damage from overdischarging. A good move.

Just thought i'd pass it along for those who have the older manuals and as a general FYI

So people in Europe need special instruction on general LiPo use/care I guess? This stuff was covered in the CC forum like 2 years ago or whenever the MMM came out.

So many people don't know to disconnnect the battery from the esc. Bought a rustler on ebay with a smc lipo. One cell was completely dead (0.00v). I'm pretty sure its because the battery was left hooked up.

This also proves that 125amps is not required. 100amps is just fine.

Not really, I'll take Castles word way before HPI's on this

I missed where CC said that, can you post the link for me? Seems odd that they would require a 125 continuous amp battery when the esc is only rated for 120 continuous amps.
