CRT .5 up in smoke!!

This happened a while ago but figured it was worthy of rc-monster.com

Not exactly sure what happened... Hit a double nose first and heard some grinding noises, so i decided it was time for a pit stop... But before I could get there....

So I biked 30miles each way to run my car at the R/C track, and well this is what happens...

Oh it works again. Actually used the jammin part tree to mount esc and the jammin scrt 10 battery tray so now it's only 3s with mmm/2650 still plenty fast with 15/45... Might up the pinion a bit

Grinding noises? Guessing the spur ate the lipo- the MMM is definitely hungry for power!

that sucks, but atleast the truck is repairable

thanks guys...

neil, the grinding noises was actually the motor mount bending and causing friction on the center diff.

I think i took a nose dive and the lipo crushed or maybe since the top was exposed since the Hyper 10 SC tray doesnt cover the whole battery the top corner got crushed...

Since ive switched tot he scrt10 tray and 3s the battery should be slightly more protected... i hope...
