MMM and 2.4ghz? gaurenteed to work?

Hi,long time no see.I put an MMM in my summit. It WON'T work with the 27mhz radio:no:.I've tried everything to get it to,ferrite rings, moving the rx as far away from the motor, esc.Still won't even calibrate! So I'm using a 2 ch losi 2.4 ghz with it.But no locking diffs, gear change,or reverse? (confused on the last one!) So I'm saving for a 2.4ghz 5ch radio.Tried the traxxas power up thing(exchange $100 and the stock radio for a 5Ch 2.4) But I'm in the UK,so it doesn't count!:oh:.Will it definetly work? I can't afford to spend £100 on a new radio if it STILL won't work.Any help is trully appreciated.

I am using Spektrum DSX3S, but it's only working with firmware 1.21 and lower.

Yes. I have spectrum DX3S and DX3R and it works flawlessly. No reason why any 2.4ghz (or any transmitter for that matter) shouldn't work.
