Time to build something new....
With 3 incredibly fast road cars, it is time to go off road. I ran the dust out of my Tamiya Sand Viper last night and discovered again the fun of rear wheeled fun ripping through the grass. Need some suggestions...purely bashing...no racing for me.

4x4 Slash or go big and get a XXL/LST2
|
Go build a big house. Have you ever considered a crawler? They are quite fun even though they're on the opposite side of the velocity spectrum.

Baja
BAJA 5B SS kit. It aint cheap but they sure look like a ton of fun to play with. Plus you get to chose your own power plant. The hop ups available are endless these days. You can either run it stock or dump a few grand into your project and end up with something incredibly facinating. Good luck with your build.

Jacked...
Man you guys jacked my thread big time. Appreciate the ideas. I a thinking about turning a Ofna Lx-1 into a Truggy type off road basher. I need something to run circles around my neighbors Emax he is building.
|
Some of the guys here seem to be having good luck with the Ofna LX1-e. Upgrade to some big bore shocks and they are supposed to make for a pretty solid basher. And they are dirt cheap.
|
I have a 3905 Emaxx roller on the cheap if you're interested... Plenty of spares.
|
I have a simple Mugen MBX5T conversion that will run circles around an e-maxx. They can be had cheap to
|
Get an LST2/XXL roller & convert it. It won't just run circles around your neighbors E-maxx...it will demolish it. I have a LST2 with MMM/1520 1y & it's a beast.:diablo:
