running lipos in parallel with MM 2200kv

Hi guys i have a MM 2200kv, and i am running it in my G4-Maxx truck. I have two Venom 4s 25C 5000mah 14.8v lipos. So i want to run them in parallel; this way i can have 10,000mah at 14.8v. My question is this: the MM says that it can only handle 6s lipos with a max voltage of 25v... I want to know if i run my two batteries in parallel if the batteries remain at 4s or do i have to add them together giving me 8s? I have run them individual because i have been scared that i might blow up my esc. I know if i run the two batteries in series that the voltage will be 29.6v; so this is no good. So i am confused how to understand what happens to the cell rating when i run them in parallel: do they stay at 4s or do i have to add them together which will bring me over the 6s esc limit??? Please help.

the esc will only get the 14.8 volts, go ahead and run them together. Just makes it like theres for very big cells, with 10000mah each

What about the 4s of each pack when run parallel? Do they remain 4s or does it become 8s?

4s is 14.8 volts... running parallel increase capacity... running series increases voltage... in series - 4s + 4s = 29.6 volt (still at 5000mah)...

Found my answer: 4s 14.8v 24c 5000mah when run in parallel will give me= 4s 10k mah 50c 14.8v.... Exactly what i wanted to know! Thank you all!!!!!

Doesn't give you 50C, it's still 24C just now its 24x10=240Amps rather than 24x5=120Amps

I think you might be risking more by running them individually if the venom packs arent up to the task of providing the current needed for the speed controller in a heavy MT. I would run them in parallel asap. Make sure you check the wiring diagrams and get the parallel connection right, since running them in series could make for a lot of smoke. Maybe measure the voltage before you connect them up to the ESC before you make your first run to make sure you have 14.8V.

Oh thank you. I got the 50c info from another site. I'm glad i posted :0)
