R/C Calculations Updated?

Wow seems the R/C Calculations was updated but it is still missing a few stuff.

does not have the Ultra LX-1E kit

For the:
Front/Rear Differential Gear Ratio
Transmission Gear Ratio
tire diameter in inches (which I was able to find)

Has everything else to calculate but the things listed.

Running a Ofna Ultra LX-1E w/ a HobbyWing 2350 Brushless motor w/ 9/51 and idk if thats to fast or too slow. I have other pinions but Idk what my front/rear diff are or the transmission gear ratio is.

well thanks for the help on this

I can only add vehicle data (transmission, diff, tire info, etc) for vehicles I personally have or if people submit that data to me. So, if you know those values, post them and I'll add them.

For diff and transmission data, I need the gear tooth counts, not the final ratio number. I like to keep precision higher and a final ratio tends to have rounding errors.

For tire size, I need the overall diameter.

Check the FAQ page for more info...

Wheels: Ultra light 3.2" (82mm) diameter, 1.6" (42mm) wide
Tires: High grip bones, 4.5" (115mm) diameter, 1.57" (40mm) wide with
foam inserts

I can not find the diff and transmission gear tooth counts I am doing research on the buggy now

Thanks for that info!

The "transmission" will be "1" if it is just a center diff. Most b/truggies have no transmission, just a F/R diff and Spur/pinion.

Typical 8th scale buggy diffs are 43T ring gear, 13T pinion gear, if that helps you out. If all else fails, just count the teeth (sometimes you can even count the teeth on the PDF document when blown up).
