mgm warrenty work??
 

i bought this 22418 used, so i'll have to look into their warrenty info, but any ideas of where to get it worked on? is it worth it? any experience? i know icare rc has web info on them, is that my best bet?

idk what happened weather it was just its time or my fault. it is a little dirty, so could have arched due to that i guess. i might have had my mesh a bit too tight, and i do have tall gearing. all i did was make it from my lawn to the street and it stopped. i unpluged the batteries then reconnected them and got smoke out. it doesn't power the motor now.

Yea either ICARE or sending it directly back to MGM for repair. Either way it will more than likely cost you something and take at least two months to get resolved. Thats just the way things go with MGM ESC's. People have had their issues, but overall they seem to do pretty well. Good luck with your repairs.

thanks, i'll contact them and meanwhile i guess gather the funds for a mamba monster. i'm guessing the monster will work just fine where the mgm went? i'm just leary from the lower amp rating. its going in my gst with a 1717 on 6s.
