Options for using ICE controllers in cars or trucks

I really love my ICE controllers in my heli's but if I wanted to use one in my truggy what are my options to get the controller to calibrate correctly?

you need pistix adapter and thats it.

I have one on my ICE 160 HV and it works great.

A pistix will provide the correct pulses to allow the esc to interreact with a car radio setup. And mech brakes, as those do not have proportional brakes.

I tried a PisTix in the past in one of my boats and the throttle response was weird. I could pull the throttle stick up to a 1/4 throttle before the motor would actually engage. Maybe I did something wrong?

Mine does that too, I just figured it had something to do with the airplane software.
I guess we could call CC and see what they say.
How did you set your end points for the throttle adjustment travel?

I set the pistix up with zero-ed settings on the radio, then adjusted it a bit from there last time I used one. Playing with the throttle expo worked wonders for startup. Before I did this it was tough getting a non wheely from a standstill. This was with a great planes silver series hv air esc and a 14xl feigao in a savage on 8s. Great cool running setup with 45min runtimes. Just got old not having reverse. Still have a 14xl and will use it with a car esc when one comes out that can handle 8s and has reverse. The lower kv feigaos really are not that bad.
