Just ordered tekin 2050 buggy system
 

I just ordered the 2050 buggy combo for my hyp 9e. I will be running 6500 35c hyperion 4s or 5000 5s. With the stock 40t spur what would be a good pinion to start with. Also, i ordered from mike since he seems to have the cheapest price around. Props to RCMONSTER:great:. Are the ones that mike is selling now have the newest upgrades ie new case ect? This is my first experience with anything tekin and i am used to either castle or mgm so we'll see how it goes.

Just recieved my combo but i realized it is the 2650 instead of the 2050 that i ordered. I am going to keep it but i really need advice on two things: 1.. will the reciept saying one thing and what i got keep my from getting it serviced if need be... If so i will exchange it? 2... I had plan on running 4s but i think that might be to much for the 2650 motor as i here on 4s it is uncontrolable and really to fast to race with and i am uknown as to what pinion i should use with 4s. Please Help?!

If I were you, I'll return it and get the 2050 motor. I like my 2050 on my buggy. It's running on 5S with a spur/pinion combo of 46/13.

Even 2050kv on 4s is bit much much due to the spur only being 40T, problem is the cans diameter prevents anything smaller than 13t pinion to be used.

I'm using a NEU 1512 1700kv 40/16 on 4s and it's Perfect.

I don't care for the 2650 on 4s either. I'd get the correct motor.
