Cen diff locker...

Lock it up.

Well it all depends on whats available for your particular vehicle. Some manufacturers make a spool for them, which acts like a stright through axle. You could also try using several different substances in order to achieve your goal. You can try using a very thick grease which would still leave you a slight slipage, or even go all out and use something like gorilla glue in the diff cup. Of course it would be vertually impossible to change it back to a limited slip diff if you lock it up with glue. Acquiring some kind of spool or even making one yourself would be your best bet I would think.

you can take hot glue. When used on oily gears, it can be removed later.

or you get a torsen diff (or lsd-diff by losi, xray etc.). a torsen (I have it in the center) locks under load, up to 80 %.

The cen diff locker is the best bet, or use glue/jb weld for a permanent lock.

I use silly putty, works fine on 1/10, and 1/8 cars, can be undone if needed, and $2 gets you enough for several diffs. Just pack it as full as you can get and tighten it down. My theory is it is a touch more forgiving on gears and cv shafts, as it will have a tad bid of give over being mechanically locked.

I think I might try Shoe Goo or Amazing Goop (similar stuff from the same company). It should set up a bit firmer than putty, but you can still remove it later with a hobby knife or pick. Silicone sealant would probably do the job too, and be removable.

I have a plenty of stock diffs and diff parts laying around, and wouldn't mind using JB Weld on one to make it permanent, but I really don't want to do that to my Slipperential.

Well i have a spare center diff so idc if its permanent and the diff is from a duratrax raze i think i might try hot glue since i have some at home or i can buy some putty at rhe dollar store...
