OFNA DM-1 Spec Conversion

Hey guys, I converted an OFNA DM-1 to brushless using Tekin electronics and leaving the 2-speed and mechanical brakes. This thing is super fast!

Here's is the link for the build and a couple of pictures. There is a video at the end.

Family life and work is keeping me from going out right now during the week.

Love that pic, makes the car look like a full size!!!

Read your build, good stuff. Does the teckno chassis allow for the motor mount to be mooved (cow joke) so that a std pinion or 2 speed adapter can be used? I am not really fond of the clutch, and the extra weight it places on the motor shaft and front bearing. Not so bad with a lightweight traxxas setup, I ran that when I had my teckno converted revo.

Yes, about 1/2" movement. It can be used with a standard pinion which I will eventually go to most likely, but for now I am loving the clutch.

Nice car, I like the dm1.
I'm waiting for a chassis-tekno OFNA. I'm anxious.
Congratulations on the painting.
Greetings.

I have not had a chance to clock it, but based on Nitrohouse's build and gearing, I predict mine is right along their lines and yours. 60mph on 4s and 80mph+ on 6s.

Are you running the 2-speed?
