Help for Savage Body

The wheel base approximately measure 16.5". Similar to the Desert Boy 17.

Any ideas for Bodys for this truck...????!!!????!!!

The current body is a Duratrax MT 1/6 Body, but the body on the front and rear is outside the body.

The HPI Gigante Body looks like a temporal fix, but I'm not to happy...

This flux is almost 2 year old... And still alive... =)

Have almost all the oem upgrades.

Proline f650 body works well for around 15" wheelbase, might be too short? I thought GCM gave some body suggestions on their site?

This guy makes some cool bodies from fiberglass. I know he also makes bodies for the DB17 http://shop.ebay.com/grpcraftsman/m.html

What adapters did you use to fit the Baja wheels?

Probably the ProLine 23mm adapters. Integy also has some 23mm adapters, but eh. Not sure who else might have them. You need to wrap some metal tape around them to take up the slack.

Although here is the result of using the ProLine's on the heavier 5T conversion (~17lbs):

They are truly 24MM from HPI. Fit is perfect.

Part number: #102530 ALUMINUM WHEEL HEX HUB SET 24mm (GRAY/4pcs)

You can find the full adapter set for $30.
