proper pinion for BL muggy

Ok guys, I can tell by the look of the mod1 pinion that I have now that it has the wrong shape teeth on it. It meshes but its not right, I can tell by the sound of it and the premature wear. I am running a 14t rcm mod1 but I am almost positive that I need a pinion with sharper teeth different shaped teeth. I can show you pics of a nitro clutch bell and the mod one pinion for comparison purposes if anyone needs it to see what Im talking about. I am concerned about wear to much load on the motor.

I also am running a 48t 8ight spur on it guys just an fyi, I could be wrong but I want everything to be perfect before I take her out!

Is the spur new or used? If it is worn, that could be a reason for improper meshing.

Otherwise an rcm mod1 pinion is absolutely right for the 8ight spur.

awesome brian! As I have told you before, this is my first go round with BL tek. It looked a little different that my CB from nitro so I got concerned. There is not visible damage, I guess its a little anodizing coming off I believe, or its polishing itself haha! There is no groove or anything cut into it so I guess Ill run her and see whats up! Just waiting on some ball ends to come in the mail and Im off to the races! haha well bash's... thanks brian you're the man bud!
