Kv readout after motor test for torque limit.

Evening fellas. I'm sure some of you remember that on the initial release of the torque limit setting, Castle Link would tell you the kv of the motor after the motor test was completed. The kv readout feature was removed in subsequent versions because of the confusion caused by 4 pole motors showing double the actual kv. Well the data is still stored in the controller, we just don't display it anymore.

Well luck would have it I was printing the settings off for one of my controllers this evening, and noticed that lo and behold, it lists the kv in the printout. So if you want to know the kv of your motor, just goto File > Print Preview and it will list the kv of your motor as one of the settings. Just remember if you have a 4 pole, divide the result by two.

I just figured some of you would like to know about this hidden gem; because honestly I miss having the kv readout as well. I just don't miss all the calls and e-mails we were getting about the odd results on 4 pole motors. :) That is all!

Another BadAzz Castle employee strikes again with a hidden gem of goodness.

Could have used this a week ago when I dug out on old Ammo motor that I couldn't remember the KV of... But next time I'll be prepaired :-)

Thanks much Thomas!!!

So this is in the castle link, or is this in the datalog features?

Castle link, like you were wanting to print off your throttle curve to show someone...
