Which wire ?
Hi guys on the mamba monster system which wire plugs in to which connector on the esc.
|
A red and black are for main power
a red, a black and a white, go to your motor... |
Doesnt matter what configuration you plug them in, if motor spins the opposite direction just switch any 2 wires for the correct rotation.
|
Thanks guys ! I thought tho it would matter about the polarities ?
|
Plugging the motor into the ESC has no specific order unless the motor spins backwards then as stated above just swap any two wires.
|
The only wires where polarity really matters is the power input. If you switch those around wrong, you will have a non-operable ESC.
But the motor wires don't matter. Like was said, if the motor spins the wrong way, swap any two of the motor wires. Or, if the wire was laid out so it is aesthetically pleasing and the motor spins the wrong way, hook the ESC to a computer and use Castle Link to reverse motor direction. Either way, doesn't matter. The only type of system where motor wire polarity matters is sensored systems. |
Thanks guys !

Does the software reverse setting effects the throttle power?
|
Not sure what you mean exactly by 'software reverse setting'?
Do you mean the reverse throttle power which you can adjust from 0-100%? If you lower the %, that will directly effect ( reduce ) the speed in reverse the motor has- I like 30% in order to avoid accidents & broken ankles... |
I mean I don't want to swap the wires on the ESC for reversing the motor. I am preferring to reverse by software reverse setting. So does the software reverse setting effect the forward throttle.
|
Don't think so, but try reverse throttle 25% and see if it has any effect.

Aaha thanks for your help guys!
I think I have found the problem; I didn't recalibrate my TX. That's the reason why the motor is slow in forward after selecting software motor reverse setting. Thanks! |
You're welcome. :yipi:
