Just ordered a e-maxx bl ed !
Hi !
I,ve jst paced an order of a e-maxx bl edition  And i wounder if the stock driveline can andle 4s lipo with the mmm 2200kv combo? And are there any must have upgrades ? |
The driveline is pretty solid really, the driveshafts take a while to wear out unless you constantly mash the throttle & try to do lots of wheelies/ backflips.
Otherwise, diffs are the next weakest link- easily fixed with some FLM hybrids, UE Ultralites or some modified LST2 diffs. Hotracing & RobinsonRacing make upgraded slipper clutch units too, though the stock one is fine if you keep it fairly tight, but consider some of the metal slipper pads: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXZUH8&P=7 though Im not sure if those come as stock or the graphite? pads do still... |
I,m going to dip the circutboard in the mmm esc. In thin epoxy to fully waterproof it :)

Putting anything on the PCB to waterproof it is also a warrenty void, but anyways..
|
Yes i know that it's a warranty void to dip the pcb in epoxy, but if i'dont it will fry when bashing in water and snow.
and if it stops working i can always buy another ! :) |
28 days later...
WTF why did my MMM stop working!!! HELP!!!!:grrrrrr: |
I recomend getting at least a rear RPM shock tower. Stock ones have never held up for more than a couple runs for me
