Help me ID this ESC

It's a 150A Turnigy ESC, look svery similar to the older HW ezrun ESC's. A dude on RCtech was quite adamant that it is not made by HW. The programmer looks the same as well.

While we're at it.

I'm having some issues with it. It will shut down for a few seconds after a hard landing. I read somewhere that this ESC doesn't like low timing and punch, I have both set at their lowest setting. Could that cause it?

looks like it was one of the first hw ezrun ones that were relabeled as turnigy they sold. They havn't had them in stock for over a year. They are good esc's, but they sure did have some issues if you turned the punch down on them. Maybe he was confident about it not being made by hw because the newer ones they carry aren't, idk.

Yeah, it looks just like the HW80A I had, minus the fan...

OK Im was pretty sure I was right about it being a HW made ESC. The similarities were too many for it not to be.

For now I've reset timing and punch to stock setting, next time at the track we'll see what it does. I really do need to get my MM sent in for repair.

The case fell apart while driving, two small surface mounted circuits got knocked of the PCB.

Ran it again today, didn't fare well.

It locked the rotor after a hard landing. With power off motor spun freely, but as soon as power was turned on it locked up. Third time was when the magic smoke escaped, i quickly disconnected the battery so no further damage.

I hope my Losi ESC get's back from service in time, or I'm gonna have to look for a new ESC.
