Keeping the sand out

This weekend I'm going to the beach for the weekend and I will be bring my D8T and CRT.5.

What would be the best way to keep the sand out of the electronics and anything else that might be affected by the sand?

Any other tips or tricks that I should know about before I damage anything.

Thanks for the help,
Nick

if its a cc motor i think they are pretty sealed up as it is, maybe a piece of tape over the rear bearing? As for the ESC just blow it out or take it apart when you are done

I'm running a RX8 T8 2000kv combo in the D8T and a MM Pro with Figeao L can motor in the CRT.5.

The D8T will have four paddle tires as well.

Thanks for the help,
Nick

In motors you want to cover any possible spot sand can get in even extra screw holes. As far as the RX8 goes, Ive got no experience with it. I have run a MM and MMM in the sand with out doing anything to them, I had no problem. I just tried to not let a big pile of sand get in it. It is tough on the fan.

Outerwears? Not sure if the mesh is tight enough for sand grains, but might be worth a shot.
