FHSS 2.4ghz tx/rx for $32
I don't like the looks of the fly sky gt3b. The chrome buttons just look lke cheese to me.
I sold my fm receivers off for $30 a pop and bought 4 of these radios!:surprised: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=12181 Why not, the package was less than I originally paid for just the receivers. So far they have worked flawlessly, I was able to setup the radio with no manual (it comes with a good manual) and it feels good in my hands. There is the weight of 8 aa's, but I'm used to that. They have the same radio with no computer functions (just trim pots) for only $20!! I can't believe people are still paying hundreds for radios:neutral: |
I actually know couple of people with those radios and they are great. Don't skip a beat. I know Venom use them in some of their kits but I think other manufacturers might also. It is way easier to use than the GT3B which I used to own. The only down side is that receivers for the HK-310 the receivers are more expensive. Still it seems like a better radio than the GT3B.
The analogue version is called HK-300. |
receivers are more compared to the fly sky, but still only $13. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=12187 Way better than spektrum, futaba, etc., etc...

Agreed! But what rock have you been living under?

The casing looks similar to the Airtronics MX-3. A friend of mine got the HK GT-2 system, and it works really well for such a cheap radio. Analog trims are better for noobs, and the receiver is tiny too. Pretty cool stuff

the last month I broken my nomadio react (250$) ........ at this moment using the gt2 and is a great radio ..... I using in races 1/8tt and I make the same times than the nomadio

There is a thread of mods here. They are programming them with new parameters and options like, 30 car memory, inactivity alarms, back-light duration, 100+trim, sub-trim and crawler specific functions.

Way to make assumptions. Now I understand your "living under a rock" statement. You sir, are the one talking about old news. This radio is newer and better, which is why I posted. Also, this radio is FHSS not DSS. Word. |
Wow, good find Harold..have to remember these as my friends are looking for new systems
|
Are the RX compatible with the 4PL

Haven't done a lipo upgrade or anything so don't know if it's even possible but it works...I bought a spare RX also, it was so cheap I couldn't find a reason to not Might go to their Sydney store this weekend... |

My friend owns a hobbyshop and sells a lot of the Venom SC trucks (Gambler I think it is called). They all come with that radio and after many trucks sold only one RX came back and that turned out to be water damage. Very solid radio. Thinking of getting one to back up my Spektrums. Arct1k I remember reading on Hobbyking forum that the receivers were not compatible with Futaba but maybe someone can give it a go anyway. |
