Hitec HS-7975HB servo making noise?

I just installed this servo in my SC10 and whenever I turn it, it makes a noise and basically keeps making it. It's annoying. I also tried it on a servo tester with a battery, and it made the same noise.

Perfectly normal, all digital servos does that.

Yeah, but it actually sounds like interference, but it isn't. It's like when you trim an analog servo from the remote -- sometimes it just keeps making noise. I thought Digital servos made 0 noise? I have another car with a digital servo and I don't think it makes any noise.

I haven't had one digital servo that didn't chatter.

Ditto, every servo I've owned makes some noise when it isnt at center. Even when centered, my savox 1256tg makes a little noise, usually stops if I lift the wheels of the ground and flick the steering.

Digital servos; noisey, but powerful :mdr:

Same here. The HS-7955TG in my E-revo chatters (more like whines, standard servos tend to chatter) and the HS-7965MG in my evader makes the same noise.

Its just the same noise that a brushed motor makes at low speeds with an ESC. The servo control board is turning the electric motor on and off many times a second to hold the servo either at center or wherever its being demaded to hold at.

Ok, thanks guys.

Anyone made a soundproof servo box yet? :p
