9920/ Lipo?

I'm soon uping my cells in my emaxx. Probably 16 cells. I wanted to go twenty but think the weight will be more distructive....So my next option would be lipo i guess. I have no experience in these batts and I think it'll cost some bucks as i will need a charger for them too. Any ideas on good lipos to run with my 9920/10xl? Charger? What would run times be? Speeds?

Thanks guys!

How much cells are you using now? the difference between 14 and 16 is huge.

One step at a time.. :)

14 cells now. But i bought some more ib's and was going to make twenty packs. But know it's to heavy, so i thought going to 16, then maybe lipo cuz they are lighter.

Like i said, the step from 14 to 16 is quite something.

try it first on 16, and you can gently try it on 20, see if you like the power.

Thanks. I have a thread on battery building, but no response so far. Any ideas Serum on how to build a good 16 cell pack?

I have not ran the lipo on the 9920 yet.
I received them today. Hopefully I may start selling my nimhs.
As for building some 8 cell packs.
I will post in the other thread.

For lipo 6s 3800 mah should go a little longer than the 18 nimh 3800 for it has less weight to drag around. 6s is about same voltage is the 18 to. I heard power is more like 20 cells though. I look forward to this.

what thread did you put that in? Thanks coolhand. FYI, i ran my truck last night after getting the ubec in and everything completely wired up...it has no glitch at all and runs smooth! Pretty fast and powerful. need diffs though, blew my front one!
