What is wrong in this picture? i think i have a slight geometry issue.

This is what you get for going 60mph on a road that's totally unsuitable speed runs, too rough and bumpy, slippy, steep camber, far too narrow, lined with trees and ditches full of water.Oh well,i like a challenge:007: .

This was one monumental impact with a tree, came to an instant dead stop from stupid speed.

Damage toll:arm, bulkhead, shock tower, various lunsford screws, lunsford quick tune shock mout, hard ano. threaded shock body, hard ano. pin brace, god knows what else is tweeked aswell:007: :007: :030:

Thats stinks! Your lucky you got lipo, if that was nimh, it would have damaged even more!

I see your problem brother..

you just need to plug in that deans, and you are good to go..

what motor is that bytheway?

1920/1930?

Gustav 05.01.2006 05:05 PM

1920/10,really great motor.Run it on 3s usually, needs some space to stretch it's legs on 4s.

Nice one Gustav,
its all about pleasure and pain............looks like you've had your dose for the month.

most forums have a 'oops look how cr@p my driving can be' Thread.

What you going to do cabking?
The flm chassis may be a good replacement for you.
How fast you think was going gustav on impact?

Gustav 05.01.2006 07:22 PM

Ouch, nice truck BTW.Is that mallet for straightening RCs?

Don't know what you mean about crap driving though, that tree jumped right out in front of me.I'm not sure if it's possible to keep a light 2wd straight on that road at that speed, even for my sublime car control:005: .Same road as the 'mind that puddle' incident,Nearly got it fixed, just need a shock body then i'll give it another go.

Coolhand,it must have been nearly 60 mph when the diff unloaded on the camber in the road and sent it hard right into the tree. The GPS said 57.1 mph earlier today on the same setup but it had plenty left, only managed to hold it on full throttle briefly.i think on that gearing it could hit over 60mph on a better road.I got a bigger pinion to try on it yet too:005: .

cabking 05.01.2006 07:31 PM

chc, this is an old pic. After breaking 3 lexan chassis, fortune smiled on me and I met a bloke with a CNC machine. now I have a 6mm aluminium one.............happy days :043:

Gustav, spot on!!! :005: the Claw hammer next to it is more effective though

coolhandcountry 05.01.2006 07:58 PM

Oh ok. I thought it was a recent one. If you do manage to do that in the flm is a right tough chassis.

That thing was diffently on the move gustav. I bet it is a hand full to drive.
