Sony is now officially retarded
Maybe my new LCD and Blu Ray player won't be Sony after all.

There's no such thing as bad publicity...

It's called spin and damage control, it's the heart of PR. There a huge firms whose sole job is to do just that. It was a negative experience, but they have to focus on the positive. I agree calling it a great experience is a bit extreme though. Should have said something like "It was a difficult time, but in the end it allowed us to upgrade the security and make the PSN more robust"

It's amazing how one word can change the tone of a statement:
"It was a great experience." "It was a great learning experience." See? I love that they left that "part" out until the last line of the story... It SHOULD be common sense that the CEO of any company (nevermind Sony) does not actually take pleasure in seeing his company lose millions of dollars. I applaud him for trying to laugh it off. The only people who are offended by his attitude toward the incident are the ones who couldn't find anything better to do for the month that their FREE ONLINE GAMEPLAY was down. FFS people... ~~FREE~~. ONLINE. GAMEPLAY. Sony even gave every single registered user tons of free content (including FULL GAMES) when the system came back online. WTF do PSN users really have to compain about? :grrrrrr: *cough* Suck it up! *cough* |
But if FB read the whole story his panties would be just twisted without a reason.
