My RC Monster CRT.5 Brushless All done up and Purdy :)
Hello All, here is my RC Monster CRT.5 with the XL Chassis, Has Alum front knuckles and rear uprights, Upper a-arms modded to turnbuckles(no more broken arms) Steering has also been switched to turnbuckles(no more ball ends popping off). Long Shocks all the way around. Has a Castle Mamba Max and 1410 3800kv 4 pole motor. Traxxas Waterproof Servo. Body is close to new and has about 2 runs on it.
I think it looks pretty bad ass, but sadly it might be for sale soon. Let me know what you guys think. http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i1...729_165013.jpg http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i1...729_165004.jpg For Bashing Proline Mashers  http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i1...802_090729.jpg http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i1...802_090743.jpg |
i'm lovin the whole MT look you've given it. i added bigger tires to mine, but did not put longer shocks on it....yet. i think you just inspired me to give my little truggy some more ground clearance and maybe finally install the extended chassis and get a better MT body for it.

Do you have any pictures with the body off?????
|
What kind of battery are you running? 2S or 3s?
I'm considering the 1410 with a MMP also. Post some pics w/ the body off. |
i have the 1410 in my crt.5 and it runs great. temps stay low, even though i am geared for about 55mph on 3s. its almost as if that motor was made for it.

btw, a quick fix for torn sidewalls: use a curved sewing needle with very fine fishing line and coat it with some CA glue when finished "sewing" the tear. the finer the line, the better, because it isn't exactly purdy, especially with thicker line. |
this truck does look good~!
I just picked my STE back up from the guy i sold it too last night. I plan on pulling my SCT3800 out of the Rusty for this set up. Glad to know it has been working for you all. Kylar what lid is this and do you have a link to the chassis? I'd like to see pics with no lid too |
