Any reason you chose the ice 200 over the mamba xl? They are the same controller, but the mamba xl has car software and brakes and doesn't need a pistix:neutral:

According to Lehner this motor pulls 160amps so i thought i would play it safe. Xl is rated at 160A

Also i got this esc for cheap on ebay

Here's how it sits now, should be getting rcm diff mount shortly

tested the system out of the car and everything seems to run smooth, will see how it performs under load

Need to think of a way to mount a mech brake on it. Going to lock the diff as well

snellemin 11.08.2011 11:32 AM

so is that motor going to be wired in Delta or Wye?

roost 11.08.2011 11:56 AM

Delta for now, intill i figure out a way to easily swap between the two. Option for low kv runs will be nice

Also took it for a little test run, Gearing is way too high (waiting on pinions) and i blew the stock diff... time to upgrade
