My 6T Eco...

Well after changing over to Serpent a few months ago i was left with my 6T, i couldn't bring myself to sell it, So what do i do with it. Well a good friend that i race with has converted his 5T to brushless, i liked the look of it, but wasn't sure if it was the way to go. Well ive taken the plunge and converted it.

Got hold of a MBX6 Eco buggy kit from the bay, i would of liked a Tekin RX8 system, but for the price of that ive got the 6eco set up,the xerun combo,2x4s 6000 turnigy battery's, so it was a no brainier really.

I haven't got the battery's yet so im use the one from my starter box

What do ya think...

Oh and thanks to learner driver (Chris) for the loan of the pinion :D

Beautiful Buggy man, really clean. Although we al know it wont stay like that for long. What camera are you using, great crisp shots.

Thanks guys, sorry i've not replied to your posts, i thought i had set an email response, looks like i didn't :intello:.

Thanks for the comments on the pictures, i'm useing a canon 50D with a sigma 70mm macro lens :intello:

Well this week end was the first time i got to race the etruggy. One word, fantastic :yipi::yipi: i cant believe how well it went.

I'm running the Ezrun system and nano tech 6000 batterys, 17/46 gearing and 70% EPA. It was quick enough along the straight, well none of the quick nitro's went passed me anyway.

I think its over geared, the motor was running at 71c, motor and battery was around 35-45 each. Im getting 10mins from the battery and it has around 15% left, it didn't cut off. Speaking to a friend yesterday he thinks it should be a 15t pinion and i should be getting around 15-18 mins run time, i was driving it easy, coming of the throttle early, trying not to use the breaks and so on. What do you think.

Here's some pic's before racing. My mate liked the look of mine so much he decided to get a 6T as well.

The guys at our local club aren't sure about brushless yet, we decided to wind them up by having 2 shells done the same......Pink,white and a little red

Mines got the white wing..

So, since you guys have the same truck, how did they perform side by side. I am guessing the Tekin set up was smoother.

I own a 5T and love it...no longer race just bash but still my favorite of my fleet

Nice trucks, I remember Brandon from Elite Rc doing a Mugen conversion, and he made it to run saddle lipo, looked pretty good,Brushless is king though:yipi:
