Castle Link for Iphone & Android

Patrick, any chance of castle link for Iphone and android. Would be a nice touch to have. Perhaps it is not possible needing a usb port and drivers and such. Would be cool if possible.

No, Smart phones cannot host USB devices & the time/ cost of developing a custom app to let the phone act as the castlelink & pc software is just too great- this question has been asked several times before...

Ya, well smart phone technology changes overnight! And things that were not possible yesterday are possible today or maybe tomorrow. So I asked again...got a problem with that?

Well they actually can - apple sell an adapter to be able to rip data from a digital camera directly to an ipod, iphone / ipa.

Technically you might be able to use this as a bridge if you could make it recognise a HID.

Thanks for the support buddy. I would not be surprised if it could be done. I think it would be a really cool feature.

I think it would be a really cool feature as well.

Unfortunately, we don't have anything to offer yet.

Yeah, I posted something about this a while ago. Sometime in iOS 4 Apple made it nicer to host USB devices. It can be done and it would be awesome if Castle and Tekin would make the program already....
