Did UE/SM quit making cvds?

I always see the drive cups in stock, but never seen their cvds in stock.
Do they still make them?

Nope, they quit making those a long time ago. He re stocked some CVD parts back in 2010 and they lasted a couple days and then were gone. Best bet is Ebay now man. Or put up some wanted threads around and see what comes up. I just sold my last set of spares a few weeks ago to Jerry and now I only have what I need.

Good luck!! I know there is some 6mm ones on Ebay right now.

Man that sucks :( .Thanks for the tip.I noticed something else about UE.Check these two links.
Here is the one I always went to.

Then I found this one when I googled SM cvds.

Thought it was odd.And when you click on buy it now,it says this recipient is currently unable to receive money.Guess that is the old site?I signed up for the forum, but it shows 0s on all forums and still haven't got email from a mod(been over a week). What would be my next best choice for 8mm cvds?I wanted to get at least the UE titanium centers, but that isn't going to happen.Seen a integy heavy duty center kit that looks pretty tough.Heavy probably, but strong.I think their heated steel, but idk really.

Yep, that second link is the old site. The first one is what you want. You can still order drive cups and center shafts from UE so I would go that route. The CVD's if you are looking for 8mm is a tall order. I would keep my eyes peeled on Ebay for a bit longer and maybe you will luck out, I don't really have a answer for a next best choice as far as what a UE 8mm CVD would bring you. There is not really any competition that is that strong. If you want to use a 17mm hex I know a ton of guys use the CRT X2 CVD's and ofna 30mm extension hex's to achieve this. Klausen just did this and his truck turned out sweet, he actually used the Traxxas center shaft kit. I know a bunch of people use those CVD's with zero issues and are very happy with them.

I have no idea about the Integy center kit. It does look beefy though.

Ue cvd's

Yea I bought that other set of CVD's from Joe and I do not have any spares to sell. They are getting harder to find these days, and thats why I jumped on his sale when I saw it. Like Joe said you can find them on EBay from time to time so keep your eyes open and bid high or you will see them go by-by. Everything UE fetches top dollars these days.
