Pic of Old school Aveox 1406 2y 3000kV motor

I finally got my set of micro hex keys to take part my old school Aveox 1406 2Y 3000kv motor. I was suprised at the the way the rotor is build.

Rotor is 19.3mm x 15.32mm. Is rated for 80A max.

How do you feel about the craftsmanship compared to other reputable brands?

I'm sitting on an old aveox I want to use in a buggy.

What's with the scarface pinky nail? Does it snow in your part of TX?

Take it easy on my booger scooper mister.

The Aveox been nice to me. Sticker on the motor states 40k rpm max. I only ran 2s with it, so I have no clue what can do had a higher voltage, or if the rotor will take it.
I really like the construction of the motor. Really industrial compared to the new stuff. Runs as good as my other 4 polers.

The rotor is shorter compared to the Tekin 1406 motor. However the rotor is .3mm bigger in diameter. Also the the actual magnet material is alot more compared to the newer Tekin.

Craftsmanship department I compare the Aveox to the Neu motor. Oh wait, Steve Neu started off at Aveox. I currently have 13 four pole motors and I feel that the Aveox is just as good as all of them. My worst 4 pole motor was the Medusa that just felt like a cheap motor.

Damn, I was looking for a hook up. Minnesota snow blows.

Thanks for the info. My aveox is only 1170 kv. I will run it on 6s in a buggy. I hope it has the torque to run a big pinion.
