Well guys i have yet another project that will most likely be bl and it's based of the tamiya tlt-1 but i want a high turn bl remember seeing some on ebay that were only 16 turns do you know how those would perform on 2s and 3s it'lll just be for bashing so i am not looking for crazy speed or anything

I've used ss5800 with TLT axles before with no problems,kind of a mini Monster Jam type rig with 4 wheel steering.20mph is quite fast for one.For a crawler the small outrunners with a mamba esc seem to be the ticket.http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showt...ight=brushless
I'm thinking of building a scale trail rig too,i've got loads of TLT axle parts,i want chassis rails and leaf springs.

yeah i have...well the only thing is i don't want a crawler and i've seen some 16t equivalent brushless motors online that i'd love to throw in for kicks

I have a tlt-1 based truck that is BL. I am using kontronik 3700 twist with a schulze 18.61 controller. The chassis is a prp conversion kit. One thing to note on the TLT-1 axle is that the C hub is weak (I think that's what it's called). If your wheel(s) hit something at speed, then it's likely that the C section will get damaged. I bought some bracing from prp & used 5 minute epoxy paste to strengthen them.

Sounds good.Only problem i had with TLT axles was snapping the axles at the wheel nut when using big tyres(masher 2.2s) and 32mm tobycraft widening kits.I think TLTs are better kept on the ground:005: .I was doing double backflips with mine in less than 2 feet of air:027: .

Edit; i used those PRP braces aswell,highly recommend them,forgot about those.Joeling that PRP chassis looks real nice,bigger than i thought it was.

well this truck will see some air but not much...it's an all around tough truck so i need to find a way to make it as strong as possible since i plan on doing some light jumping and such
