a question about the Cap Pack

I was wondering the difference the 01100020 version and 11000202 version

CapPack 01100020

CapPack 11000202

The 2 at the end of CapPack 11000202 obviously is their code for "$2 more expensive for the exact same thing"

Maybe it means they put post's on that will take wire larger than 12awg without having to learn a new magic trick. Using one on my baja and it works but it was not easy getting the XL wires soldered on, still not comfortable with it.

Have you tried this: Tin the wires with solder. Then, using needle-nose pliers, "squish" the tinned area to flatten the area somewhat. That should reshape the wire enough to allow you to insert the flattened wire edge-wise into the solder-post groove.

I use this "trick" when soldering wires on Tekin ESC solder posts.

Really the biggest problem when using the cap pack with the XL is the posts are too close to the caps. More of a clearance issue with that 8awg wire.

I was thinking that 011000202 was replacement for the mamba XL and 1100020 is from the mamba monster extreme/upgrade for the mamba monster.I looked on tower hobbies because they have a more detailed description of product and their was no 1100020 model number.
