xbe motor selection
 

I have a 780kv motor and another mamba xl2 I bought for this redcat ,But this motor doesn't seem right for this application in a quest for a bit more speed. I have 2 motors I am thinking would work best .

Neu 1521 1.5d 1800 kv or Nue 1527 1.5D 1500 Kv on 8s.

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated .

Longer the better - 1527 gets my vote

I use a CC1520, it gets around pretty good. If ya can shoehorn a longer motor it would be worth the effort.
