1930/8 is too small for a buggy???

Hallo my friends I wanted to know if 1930/8 with 4S lipo are too much small for buggy 1/8, or is ok?
which are the differences between a 1930 are feigao a version L,like power ?
Thanks Ettore

That would be an excellent setup for a 1/8 buggy, nice and light with good power, ideal for the track.

The 1930 is ahead of the L, it uses segmented magnets, it spins up very fast and is about the same size, the 1930 is an awesome motor, according to Mike it is more than enough to run a monstertruck with on the track (on 4S lipo)

I ran a 1930 10t in a full aluminum maxx. It was a great little motor. It is a touch shorter than a l can. It has power like an L can though. I liked mine. With the right gearing it would be a great motor.

Thanks boys, fine I will try 1930/8 4s lipo and U-Force 75 on my savage…

The UF75 may struggle with the load. If you can, use a fan on it!

I hope resists... :)

I ran my with a 7020 and it thermaled on a good run. The 8t is going to draw a few more amps. Keep an eye on the temps of it.

thanks coolhand, i put a fan on it, and i hope the temperature is ok, on 4S lipo

whats a good esc for the 1930, I like the 1930:)

coolhandcountry 06.07.2006 09:43 AM

It would depend on the turn you have hayden. I think the 7020 is alittle light for it. The 9920 would handle it alot better. If you run 12 cells the mgm 120 would do nicely. The quark 125 should run it and have plenty of room for error.

The 9920 would do nice. Just put a fan on it.

Maybe it might not run that hot, but a fan is always a nice way to know its all cool.
