D8T conversion what to watch out for??

I'm starting a new kit d8t and putting Mikes conversion kit in it. What do I need to be aware of doing or not? This truggys going to be a race ready unit, I'm still
sitting on the fence as to which motor combo, 2200 MMM or Tekin 1900 RX8

Sensored or sensorless?? I don't have any lipos yet as I'm switching from nitro
so heres a chance if you could make the perfect race truggy what would you do?

Track is med traction and semi smooth about 150' long straight with lots of turns.

If I were building a race only truggy. I would try and go with the lightest setup availbale.

I would run a Tekin 2000kv or 2200kv motor/esc on 4s.

Your on the right track going with Mike's conversion kit. It works very well. I'm been bashing my D8T for a few years now will very little broken parts.

Good luck,
Nick
