Brushless skateboard
2000 watts and a 12 pound board + rider.
My e-maxx has twice the power and no rider:yes: Anyhoo, the board: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...f=home_popular |
I was day dreaming about my imaginary brushless skate again and that was about it. I was like why not slap and RC spur drilled through the wheel, mind jacked me. Need 20-25mph and twice the runtime though. I'd take an extra 7lbs to go twice as fast for twice as long. Also I was thinking 5-6 hundred.

Dang, must be me, but this is actually a pretty cool idea.
But for $1200, looks like more of a specialty product. I feel like we could definitely make one of those for roughly 300? Or would that be too low.. |
Sounds like their using good quality gear to base it on, the rolling board probably costs $300 before they do anything to it.

Great ideas
Great ideas for the true skateboarder, but man the price of things like this are getting rediculous. I shared this with our 15 year old. I'm sure he will want one of these.

Miss you too
Yea I miss you too Harold. Glad to see your still wheeling around in here though. I wish I lived closer and could enjoy the R/C brotherhood more. Sorry I have not been on here lately. Just too much life issues to deal with, and not enough play money to keep me busy. My boss has me working full time from now until New Year and our kids keep us busy dealing with their adventures. I do still drop in on UE every day, but here only a couple times a week. Your right it has gotten a bit quiet on here, so I cut back on my posting. Just not enough interest for me to put my two cents in. The electrics still facinate me though. I will always be around, and into this hobby. Hopefully much more later.
