Upgrading From Old To New Waterproof ESC's Trade Up Program?
 

Was wondering if anyone from Castle can comment if my old Mamba Monster and SV2 can be upgraded if sent in to the newer waterproofed versions?

check post 93 and 94, I think it means you have to pay the listed price for repairs as per their site. The question in that thread was for MMM; SV2 you gotta check.

At this time we are offering trade-ins on the Monster 2 and SV3.

You can send in a Mamba Max, Mamba Max Pro or Mamba Monster and trade-in for a Mamba Monster 2 for $105. The $105 includes a new ESC, shipping to you and you get the standard 1-year warranty.

You can send in a Sidewinder or Sidewinder V2 and trade-in for a Sidewinder V3 for $45. The $45 includes a new ESC, shipping to you and you get the standard 1-year warranty.

How about if you have a broken MMM v2 and it's sent in for non warranty repair. What would you get back?

If you send in a regular Mamba Monster V1-V3, you will get back a Mamba Monster V3 for the regular $70.00 non-warranty replacement price. If you want a Mamba Monster 2 you would have to pay the $105 trade-in price.

This is because we still have stock on original Monsters. Once we run out of original Mamba Monsters, when we will replace original Monsters with Monster 2's for the regular $70.00 non-warranty replacement price. We have no idea when we will run out of original Monsters, it could be a few weeks it could be months; so until then if you want a Mamba Monster 2 it will cost $105.

The same goes for the Sidewinder V3 as well. We will replace Sidewinders and Sidewinder V2's with Sidewinder V2's until we run out of them; then we will replace them with a Sidewinder V3 for the regular $40.00 non-warranty replacement price. Time frame unknown.

Thomas, thanks for the reply. I need the monster upgraded for sure for my sons truck. It's hard for a 6 year old to remember to watch for water. That's a good deal all the way around in my honest opinion. Thanks again for top notch customer service.
