Almost overkill for eBay. It will be better than a phone & a good 'in the pocket' camera for everyday use

Should be a fine choice. For a pocket compact camera I always like to handle them before buying because the tiny button layouts can be hit or miss. The 14MP is more than enough. My Xmas present to myself last year was a Canon T4i DSLR. Takes great pics, but for Ebay pics a lot of the time I still use my old Panasonic Lumix. It's 8MP max and I usually have it turned down to 5MP because I just end up resizing the pics small for Ebay anyway.

Last thing, make sure to examine your pictures closely before posting them to Ebay...

Thanks guys. I was only asking because ebay is updating there policy & requirements for pics, on ebay. So iam not sure my current camera is enough.

Your current camera is enough. Some people use potatoes to take their pics.

True but if you want to sell something rather than prove that you are able to take a photo with a potato, you would do well to use a camera. I would never buy anything where the photo has been taken with a potato, and if the item is used It needs a reasonably good photo to get me interested.
