2200kv gettin hot in my summit

Hi. My motors gettin hot. It's a MMM esc with 2200kv motor in a summit with 130C lipos. The trucks got big joes on it. I'm runnin 22/58 gearin in it. I'm sure it wasn't gettin hot when I was runnin the 90 C lipos. Any advice is appreciated :)

Oh my!

I expect you just need a 650A ESC and 10KW motor to cope with the labels on those LiPos.

I can supply an ESC and Motor with those ratings clearly marked on the labels for only £500 each, as you are in England too I will post for only £5, or here's a deal for you, I can send you the labels on their own so you can stick them on your existing motor and ESC to uprate them, i can send both labels for only £200, saving you £800 and I will post them first class for free.

I also have a small supply of Fairy Dust which is literally magic stuff, and is absolutely gaurenteed to lower your temperatures when combined with an enchanted +1 pinion of cooling, it is so effective that I am loath to sell but you seem like a good guy and need it more than me so I will part with it for the bargain price of £1000, and that is cutting my own throat.

^ haha. He is saying the lipos are overrated and he is right big time. It has nothing to do with the batteries

Really though Big Joes are too heavy. especially if you are running 4s and that gearing.

over geared and over rated

Come on guys. The lipos aren't "max amps" . They're turnigy nanotechs . No hippies rippin people off from a garage . I've swapped the pinion for a 14t. Seems to be cooler now :)

You mean turnigy hopped on the "impossibly high c rating" bandwagon also? smh....

I'm sure I told you it was overgeared & Bigjoes are too heavy a year ago...

Summit is a heavy truck, Bigjoes are heavy tires- you need to gear down to reduce the load on the electronics- 22/58 is tall gearing even for an erevo which is much leaner running lighter tires...
