stronger gerboxes or dd-outrunner in ax10 clone?
 

I mounted a 35x48 outrunner in the gerabox in my hsp pangolin (ax10 clone)
and after 2 min runtime onewheel got stuck an i bliped the trottle and CRUNCH" and the top two geras inside the cenrer gearbox stripped out :(
are there any bulitproof gearboxes that would fit ?
the center driveaxles are traxxasstyle telescope shafts made for 5mm output shafts.

i think that the most durable sulution would be a outrunner in direktdrive
i have a bigger motor 42x50 850kv ,with 5mm shaft would this bee enough ?

this is an 2.2 crawler

Just use an AX10 trans and Robinson steel gears...

were can i by those items ?

Axial do them for $50, RPP do them as do HR

That Hot Racing gearset from rpphobby has a "52T" marked on it. That's the same number of teeth on a B4 2.6 trans and RC10GT 2.6 trans diff gear. Do you know if these gears will fit in those associated cars? Ever tried fitting gears from the Axial trans in Associated gearboxes?

It looks like it is not an exact clone - just ax10 like.

Honestly - I'd get rid of it and find a used ax10 or you could keep axles and put an ax10 trans in.

CKRC has a complete metal trans and case for a reasonable price.

an axial gearbox with metallgears costs more than my crawler rtr ! so no thank's

the gearbox +gears costs 250$

here in sweden that is !
