6.5mm Bullet Connectors Don't Fit

I bought the CC 6.5mm Bullet Connectors to a make a lead from my 1515 2200kv to my ESC with 4mm inputs. The males cannot enter the females no matter how hard I push. The male connectors on the motor cannot fit into the female connectors either. Pinching the motor's connectors didn't help, either. I'm 255LBS so I'm no scrawny dude. All the male connectors are too big for the female connectors. I have lots of CC motors and ESC's with 4mm bullet connectors, and I've never encountered this problem. Is this normal with CC 6.5mm hardware??

Maybe you warped them while soldering.

I haven't soldered anything. This is fresh out of the package. I just test fitted, and it's a no go.

Hang on, your 6.5mm bullets don't fit in 4mm sockets, and you're surprised?

Unsurprisingly you need 4mm bullets to fit in 4mm sockets, or 6.5mm sockets to fit 6.5mm bullets in.

I bought the CC 6.5mm Bullet Connectors to a make a lead from my 1515 2200kv to my ESC with 4mm inputs. I have a bag full of 4mm bullet connectors to add to the other end of the lead. This thread is about the CC 6.5mm males not fitting the females they are packaged with. The packaged females do not fit the 6.5mm males on the CC 1515 2200kv motor, either. The females appear to be the wrong size.

The situation you described has happened before with the 4MM bullets. I have about a dozen or more of their 4MM bullets that, when compressed to minimum dimension with pliers, measure bigger (with a micrometer) than the hole they are supposed to fit in. Castle had a bad run of the 4MM bullets but now I don't trust any of theirs because I feel I cannot rely on them. So I use other brands for most applications and save the few goods sets I have for when I really need the best possible bullet. Funny - they make the best, but only if they fit.

I guess the same thing has now happened with the 6.5s.

Contact Castle and ask to have them replaced with ones that are test fitted before shipping. When I called them to get my bad ones replaced, about half the new ones still didn't fit.

Ja, I had bad 4mm too a while back. I just got a batch of 6.5mm and some are too loose. Different problem I guess.
