Regular diff oil wt vs slipperential oil wt

So...easy question. Do I run the same weight of oil in the slipperential as I run in my regular diff - or does it need to be thicker/thinner?

The same oil can be used. Internally, the diff is still a diff.

Ok thanks. I didn't know if the slipper function made it necessary to run a heavier or lighter weight oil to have the same handling.

The slipper works independently of the differential - if you run a LOT of slip you may go slightly heavier, as slip generates heat. I use 5k in my buggy and 10k in my truggy with the Slipperential - same as I used to use with a regular diff.

Perfect. Thanks for the answers!
